Phunga Heritage provides a platform and to encourage local writers to display their work. This will not only help blooming authors but will also help promote North Eastern local language to the rest of the world. Not to forget, North East India being diverse, hold along with it many folk tales like Bamphalar in Jaintia Hills which is an annual theatrical festival not known to people outside North East. Here, at Phunga Heritage we aim at creating awareness and promoting to people across the world about the oral folk culture of the North East.
As a step of promoting the literature of North East India, Phunga Heritage gather all local authors by organizing Inter-Multilingual Literature Fest.
